Dr. Satinder Sartaaj is an internationally acclaimed Punjabi-Sufi singer, poet, and actor born in Bajrawar, Hoshiarpur, Punjab. One of India's most academically qualified performers, he holds a PhD in Sufi singing from Panjab University and taught music there for six years.
He rose to fame with his 2010 anthem "Sai" and has since performed across four continents. In 2017, he made his Hollywood debut as Maharaja Duleep Singh in The Black Prince. Known for writing his own poetry, he has spent two decades championing classical Punjabi language and Sufi philosophy through music.
